Getting ready
Possibly, the best way to become familiarized with these elements is by using a simple scene where we can run a smooth simulation without overcharging Lumion.
How to do it…
To create a fountain in your scene, perform the following steps:
From the left-hand side of the screen, select the Objects menu.
Click on the Effects button.
Select the thumbnail called Change object to access the Lumion library.
The first tab is the one that contains all the fountains that are available.
Select one of the first 19 fountains and place it in your scene.
With this kind of fountain, you can only move, rotate, and scale. If you scale the fountain, keep in mind that this will change the speed of the water.
Click on the Edit properties menu and select the fountain.
The only settings available to change are the X, Y, and Z coordinates.
Go back to the Effects Library.
After the Fountain019 option, you will find another fountain called fountainround_01. Select it and place it in your project.
If you check the properties of this fountain, the following are the settings that are available:
